The Shining will be shown today at Baan Who in Bangkok. The venue is an abandoned film studio, a suitably atmospheric location for a screening of Stanley Kubrick’s horror classic. The event is organised by Baan Film. The film will also be shown at Doc Club and Friends, on 29th October and 2nd November.
(There are two books about the making of The Shining. Danel Olson edited an anthology about the film in 2015, and J.W. Rinzler and Lee Unkrich collaborated on a lavish two-volume making-of book in 2023.)
