The group exhibition One to Ten (๑ ๒ ๑๐) opens today at Joyman Gallery in Bangkok, and runs until 8th November. Joyman’s website explains the meaning (or one meaning) of the title: “count one to ten in your mind when you have to endure something unbearable.” It also says: “Time to shout out, One to ten, no more!”
The exhibition includes Joker, an oil painting by Krit Chantranet. He has painted a portrait of Prayut Chan-o-cha wearing the same make-up as the Joker, as portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix in the 2019 film of the same name.
