There will be a retrospective of short films by Paisit Punpruksachart at the Reading Room in Bangkok on 8th and 9th November, as part of the fourth installment of the Wildtype Masterclass series. The event will include Paisit’s อัติภาวะนิยมสุขสันต์ (‘existential happiness’), a 2004 music video featuring documentary footage of pigs being killed in a slaughterhouse. Previous Paisit retrospectives were held in 2008 (at Bioscope Theatre) and 2011 (at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre).
