An Iranian newspaper has been closed down after it expressed support for Charlie Hebdo, the French newspaper which
suffered a terrorist attack earlier this month. On 13th January, Mardom-e Emrooz published the back-page headline (in Arabic) "I am Charlie, too". A court in Tehran this weekend revoked the newspaper's publishing licence, ruling that expressing solidarity with
Charlie Hebdo, which has printed a new Mohammed cartoon, was unacceptable in an Islamic country.
